چکیده

The COVID-19 pandemic has become a public health priority during 2020. Social safety distance is one of the most effective strategies to stop spreading virus, as it reduces dose infectious particles that person can receive. Real-time location systems (RTLS) based on ultrawideband (UWB), radio frequency identification (RFID), Global Position System (GPS), or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) help keep workers safe at workplace. aim current paper develop dosimeter proposal monitor and control exposure time between BLE beacon technology considering viral load. Our set beacons estimation by filtering RSSI measurements with Gaussian extended Kalman filter. According estimated proximity values time, finite state machine will alarm when worker receives maximum defined authorities. proposed system be applied prevent any risk eliminated reduced controlling distances and/or exposition occupational risk. robust, inexpensive, respects privacy workers, its accuracy higher than existing smartphone applications. In future situations, easily updated particle related new agent. protect from additional incorporating extra identified such thermal, noise, radiation.

DOD-Based Indoor Localization Using BLE Beacons

This paper presents a BLE-based localization method suitable for the indoor smartphone geolocation service. In this method, a triangulation technique using Direction-of-Departure (DOD) information from the multiple BLE beacons is used for localization, where they are calculated only from the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI). The outline of the proposed localization system and the exper...

Occupational Exposure to Styrene Vapor and Determining Risks of Health Consequences in Petrochemical Industry Workers

Introduction: Styrene (C₆H₅CH=CH₂) is known as one of the volatile organic substances produced or used in petrochemical industries. Exposure to this chemical compound can thus lead to respiratory diseases. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate occupational exposure to styrene vapor and to determine the risks of its health consequences in petrochemical industry workers through a quantitative m...

Ephemeral Identifiers: Mitigating Tracking & Spoofing Threats to BLE Beacons

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons broadcast their presence in order to enable proximity-based applications by observer devices. This results in a privacy and security exposure: broadcast devices are typically susceptible to tracking and spoofing based on the IDs used by the beacons. We introduce a scheme consisting of cloud-based Ephemeral Identifiers (EID) which allows only authorized parties...
